THE FIRE PROTECTION BOARD FOR STRUCTURAL STEEL

PROMATECT®-XW is a high performance, cost effective fire protection board used in the protection of structural steel, and provides an effective alternative to fireproof paint and intumescent coatings.

PROMATECT®-XW is A1 non-combustible and gives up to 60 minutes fire protection to structural steel columns and beams. It combines this performance with excellent weather resistance, meaning it can be installed and left exposed for up to 6-months on site.

It is simple, quick to install, and requires no specialist equipment.

PROMATECT®-XW is fully tested at limiting temperatures from 300ºC to 650ºC. The board is moisture resistant, allowing installation before the building is weathertight, and has a smooth, strong, impact resistant surface.
