Stephen George + Partners appoints new BIM Manager

2003

Stephen George + Partners LLP, one of the UK’s leading architectural practices, has appointed Viktoria Roy as BIM Manager, based at their Leicester office

In addition to an Honours Degree in Interior Design, Viktoria is a RICS Certified BIM Project Manager, Autodesk Certified Revit Specialist, and a member of the Association for Project Management (APM). Previously at Pollard Thomas Edwards and Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, Viktoria brings seven years’ experience working with various BIM applications and four years of strategically executing standards and processes for better collaboration, ultimately improving project delivery.

Viktoria Roy, BIM Manager, Stephen George + Partners LLP, said: “Most of all I am a people person. I like building and empowering teams, provoking curiosity and surprise by coaching people who think technology is not for them. I like giving others the confidence to solve problems themselves”.

“We’re delighted to welcome Viktoria to SGP. Her experience and skills will be a valuable addition to our BIM team, at a time when BIM is playing an increasingly core role across all the sectors in which we operate.

“We know that expanding our BIM services will bring key benefits to our clients, such as a smoother design and construction process, and better productivity,” Marcus Madden-Smith, Partner, Stephen George + Partners LLP, added.

Viktoria will be speaking at London Build on 26 October as part of the BIM & Construction Summit. Her talk is entitled ‘Information Lost through the Construction Project and its Effect on Stakeholders’.
