Bentley Systems is sponsoring an interactive exhibition as part of a celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), at the ICE headquarters building in London

As a component of ICE’s larger exhibition, Invisible Superheroes, which tells the story of how civil engineers help transform lives and safeguard the future, Bentley will feature an immersive cube, in which visitors can navigate through a 3D model created using Bentley applications.

Additionally, Bentley will feature a ContextCapture Mobile station, where participants can take their own photos and create a reality mesh from a physical model of a London Underground station, and an interactive station featuring LumenRT, where attendees can try their hand at enlivening a 3D scene with virtual people, plants, and weather.

Following the opening for invited members of the press, the ICE is hosting Engineering Late, an evening of live music, talks, and interactive activities for the general public, which will also include after-hours access to the Invisible Superheroes exhibition.

Invisible Superheroes is open Monday to Friday, 10am-5pm, at the Infrastructure Learning Hub at One Great George Street, London, SW1P 3AA. Admission is free. The exhibition will run until March 2019.

Bentley’s CEO, Greg Bentley, has recently been named as a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE), a special ICE membership which recognises professionals who have made significant contributions to the civil engineering profession.
