London Belgravia, insurance

London Belgravia Brokers has moved into a bigger premise at St Magnus House, Lower Thames Street, which boasts over 5,000 sq. feet

The brokerage has added 15 new staff to its London office over the last 12 months, taking its total headcount to more than 50.

With views of a number of central London landmarks, the new facility will provide London Belgravia Brokers staff with the much needed flexible space to accommodate plans to double the workforce this year.

London Belgravia Brokers is recognised as the UK’s largest independent broker of latent defects insurance.

A new chapter for the business

Giles Fallan, chief executive, said: “This move is a significant milestone for the business which, despite many challenges, saw a record-breaking 2020. It has been an exciting few years, and the location marks a new chapter for the business.”

Commercial director, Jack Bristow, said: “Having toured a few corners of the city, I’m delighted that we’ve now put down roots on Lower Thames Street and look forward to developing and growing our teams.

“Our first order of business on this front is to recruit for our small projects team.

“Over the past 12 months, we’ve seen an incredible rise in enquiries for self-build developments and projects under £1m contract value, so we are absolutely committed to supporting this end of the market by growing this team and demystifying warranties for new and first-time developers.”
