Who are Oasys Ltd?
Established in 1976 as the software house of Arup, Oasys ltd bring real innovation into the market and their portfolio of products includes geotechnical and structural engineering software, specialist analysis solutions and the class leading pedestrian simulation software, MassMotion and Flow. Continuing development refines and improves Oasys software in line with national and international codes, and ensures easy import and export from standard CAD programs and for BIM. A conscious effort is placed on BIM delivery & software connectivity in order to streamline your efficiency.
All of their software is available as a free 30 day trial and unrivalled support is offered to ensure you get the most out of the software.
MassMotion is the world’s most advanced crowd modelling & pedestrian simulation software, which is fast being adopted by planners & designers as the standard tool to simulate people movement and fire evacuation planning in transport hubs, stadia, malls, cityscapes amongst others. Not only is it regarded as one of the most intuitive tools of its kind, but it is also the most accurate and certainly the fastest.
Flow, MassMotion’s younger sibling, was created to bring advanced crowd analysis software to a wider market to ensure environments are designed to be safer and more efficient than ever before. BIM is very much at the heart of the design of Flow and users can rapidly transfer BIM models to Flow using the open IFC 2×3 standard. This means that the data generated can be used to inform others in the project teams quickly, producing optimal designs.
MassMotion and Flow were both recently strengthened with the release of version 8.0, which saw an in-built polygon modelling tool and fresh new interface introduced providing standalone functionality.
Oasys structural software can tackle a wide range of engineering problems. Structural engineers working on buildings, bridges and tensile structures need a comprehensive design program – Oasys GSA is well positioned to provide the solution. ADC, AdSec and Compos are additional structural software programs available from Oasys, which offer a range of tools to design and analyse buildings, whether that be a tall structure or a complex iconic building.
Oasys geotechnical software enable engineers to define and solve the most complex geotechnical design problems quickly. Frew is designed to solve all types of retaining wall problems including sheet pile, secant, contiguous or diaphragm walls. Pdisp & Xdisp offer a quick and accurate way to predict soil displacement, and Slope provides a robust way to study a slip surface. Pile, Alp and AdSec enable engineers to design single piles as well as piled rafts and to perform non-linear cross section analysis.
Oasys offer a free 30 day trial on all of their software programmes and provide market leading support to ensure you get the most out of our software.
