{"id":101560,"date":"2021-11-09T10:29:35","date_gmt":"2021-11-09T10:29:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=101560"},"modified":"2021-11-09T10:29:35","modified_gmt":"2021-11-09T10:29:35","slug":"demolition-land-preparation-framework-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/demolition-land-preparation-framework-2\/101560\/","title":{"rendered":"Pagabo launches bid race for \u00a31.1bn demolition framework"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The tender documents are now live for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pagabo.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pagabo\u2019s<\/a> \u00a31.1bn Demolition and Land Preparation Framework, which is set to go live in February 2022<\/h2>\n<p>The Demolition and Land Preparation Framework contains a total of five lots, nine project types and up to 15 geographical regions.<\/p>\n<p>The framework will ultimately operate through a maximum of 9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/plant-equipment-supplies-news\/contractors-products-price-hikes\/101129\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contractors<\/a> per project type per region per lot.<\/p>\n<h3>The 9 project types covered are:<\/h3>\n<h4>Demolition<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Demolition of structures 5-storeys and below<\/li>\n<li>Demolition of structures 6-storeys and above<\/li>\n<li>Decommissioning and decontamination<\/li>\n<li>Industrial dismantling and de-planting<\/li>\n<li>Demolition of non-traditional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/high-rise-thermal-efficiency\/98045\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">high-rise structures<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Land preparation<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Bulk earthworks and waste management<\/li>\n<li>Contaminated land remediation<\/li>\n<li>Mine work remediation<\/li>\n<li>Ground improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u2018Rebuild with confidence\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>Jason Stapley, Pagabo&#8217;s managing director, said: \u201cOur new demolition and land preparation framework offers the market an excellent opportunity to help <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/construction-framework-provider\/77833\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">public sector<\/a> bodies rebuild with confidence and excellence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBreaking down the lots into smaller geographical regions intends to offer opportunities to SMEs and promote the idea of suitability prevailing.
