{"id":103076,"date":"2021-12-21T09:51:44","date_gmt":"2021-12-21T09:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=103076"},"modified":"2021-12-21T09:51:44","modified_gmt":"2021-12-21T09:51:44","slug":"dfe-construction-framework","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/dfe-construction-framework\/103076\/","title":{"rendered":"Tilbury Douglas secures place on 2021 DfE Construction Framework"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/tilburydouglas.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tilbury Douglas<\/a> has been appointed on the new Department for Education\u2019s (DfE) 2021 Construction Framework, with an anticipated spend of \u00a31.8bn to cover all education-related projects from \u00a36-12m<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/school-buildings-construction-framework-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Construction Framework<\/a> supports school building programmes and is also available for schools, local authorities, and other government departments to use.<\/p>\n<h3>The framework is divided into 3 value bands, and each value band into regions:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>High-value band (\u00a312m+) \u2013 2 regions.<\/li>\n<li>Medium value band (\u00a36m to \u00a312m) \u2013 8 regions.<\/li>\n<li>Low-value band (\u00a30.5m to \u00a36m) \u2013 12 regions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tilbury Douglas successfully delivered on the current DfE 2017 Construction Framework, where it ranked first place on all the mid value band lots on the new four-year framework.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the current DfE Construction Framework 2017, Tilbury Douglas has been awarded 31 projects worth approximately \u00a3240m.
