{"id":103406,"date":"2022-01-10T12:38:05","date_gmt":"2022-01-10T12:38:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=103406"},"modified":"2022-01-10T12:38:05","modified_gmt":"2022-01-10T12:38:05","slug":"ace-2022-board","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/ace-2022-board\/103406\/","title":{"rendered":"ACE announces details of its new 2022 board"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.acenet.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ACE<\/a> has shared the details of its 2022 board, with Dave Beddell (<a href=\"https:\/\/aecom.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AECOM<\/a>) continuing in his capacity as chair for the business association which represents those who design, deliver, and manage our national infrastructure and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/bim-news\/the-built-environment\/102225\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">built environment<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Sarah Prichard from Buro Happold has been appointed as vice-chair of the board, representing the voice of the consultancy workstream, and continues as chair of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acenet.co.uk\/campaigns\/net-zero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Net Zero group.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Craig Huntbach from Royal Haskoning DHV, remains as vice-chair of the future consultancy workstream. The vice-chair for membership and business support is currently vacant with an appointment expected in due course.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Wojciech Szewczak from Ramboll has been appointed lead chair of ACE Emerging Professionals, and there are new chairs in the nations with Kevin Yardley (Rybka) in Scotland, Kate Attwood (WSP) in Wales, and Andy Campbell (Troup Bywater + Anders) in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Steven Hale from Crofton Consulting becomes treasurer for ACE with Piers Burroughs replacing him as chair of the SME forum.<\/p>\n<h3>\u2018Delivering our Net Zero future\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>Dave Beddell commented: \u201cI am pleased to welcome new names to the Board. Together we will ensure ACE continues to be a trusted and effective voice with policymakers \u2013 vital if we are to fully play our part in post-pandemic recovery\u00a0 \u2013 while supporting members to adapt to longer-term trends, such as shifting client demands and delivering our Net Zero future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am also delighted to welcome our new CEO, Stephen Marcos Jones, in only a few weeks and I am sure that the collective skills and experience of the new board will provide a great platform to support and guide him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am looking forward to working together to ensure ACE continues to support every member to realise its full potential.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Beddell also added: \u201cI would like to take this opportunity of thanking those who have now left ACE.
