{"id":103917,"date":"2022-01-19T13:32:19","date_gmt":"2022-01-19T13:32:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=103917"},"modified":"2022-01-19T13:32:34","modified_gmt":"2022-01-19T13:32:34","slug":"cpd-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/cpd-training\/103917\/","title":{"rendered":"Popular CPDs highlight how Actis Hybrid offers \u201cinsulation one-stop-shop\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/stakeholders\/actis-insulation\/38716\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Insulation specialist Actis<\/a> has unveiled its 2022 programme of CPD training which, as well as providing essential information on addressing thermal bridging and compliance, illustrates how the Hybrid system offers a \u201cone-stop\u201d insulation and membrane shop<\/h2>\n<p>The complete <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/actis-hybrid-insulation-2\/99661\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Actis Hybrid system<\/a>, which is suitable for new builds and refurbishment projects, consists of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/insulated-thermal-bridging\/91203\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">insulation and membranes<\/a>, meaning the user can source all products from one manufacturer without the need to go elsewhere for add-ons.<\/p>\n<p>Honeycomb insulation Hybris is available in a range of thicknesses and, combined with insulating vapour control layer HControl Hybrid and insulating breather membrane Boost R Hybrid, can enable specifiers to achieve the more demanding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/u-value-simulator\/96136\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">U-values<\/a> being introduced under the 2022 Building Regulations.<\/p>\n<p>The changes, expected to come into force in June, include a \u201cnotional\u201d U-value for pitched roofs of 0.11W\/m2K \u2013 something easily achievable with the Actis Hybrid system.<\/p>\n<p>The roof variant of the insulating breather membrane \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/insulating-breather-membrane\/100177\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boost R Hybrid Roof<\/a> &#8211;
