General Modular Homes<\/a>, Love Living Homes is delivering 86 two and three-bedroom <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/mmc-news\/modular-assemblies\/104630\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">modular houses<\/a>, available via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/shared-ownership-housing-crisis\/67598\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shared Ownership<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, 10 four-bedroom Shared Ownership homes will be built using traditional methods and a collection of affordable properties will be available to rent.<\/p>\n<p>The modular homes will be constructed offsite at L&amp;G\u2019s factory in Selby, Yorkshire, before being assembled onsite.<\/p>\n<h3>EPC rating of &#8216;A&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>The properties will feature solar panels, high-quality insulation and air source heat pumps, giving them an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/energy-performance-certificates\/104123\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">energy performance certificate<\/a> rating of \u2018A\u2019 &#8211; achieved by just 1% of new properties.<\/p>\n<p>They will be designed to meet the needs of a range of residents and some will offer contemporary, open-plan dining, kitchen and living spaces while others will have a more traditional layout.<\/p>\n<p>Westwood Acres will\u00a0be situated on the edge of Broadstairs, Kent, providing easy access to plenty of outside space.<\/p>\n<h3>&#8216;Affordable, environmentally-friendly homes in Kent&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>Colin Lissenden, development director at Town &amp;
