{"id":106465,"date":"2022-02-24T13:01:07","date_gmt":"2022-02-24T13:01:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=106465"},"modified":"2022-02-24T13:01:07","modified_gmt":"2022-02-24T13:01:07","slug":"msps-end-of-year-performance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/msps-end-of-year-performance\/106465\/","title":{"rendered":"MSPS announce &#8216;record set&#8217; of end of year performance results"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/morgansindallpropertyservices.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Morgan Sindall Property Services<\/a> (MSPS) has announced its end of year performance for 2021, showcasing a \u2018record set of results\u2019 for the construction and regeneration group<\/h2>\n<p>MSPS&#8217;s 2021 end of year performance results show that\u00a0group revenue rose 6% from 2020, delivering an adjusted operating profit of \u00a3131.3m on revenue of \u00a33.2bn.<\/p>\n<h3>\u2018Another challenging year with lots of uncertainty\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>Alan Hayward, Morgan Sindall Property Services managing director, commented: \u201c2021 has been another challenging year with lots of uncertainty, but we have remained agile in our approach to delivering services to our clients and customers and supporting our colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur half year results reflect the continued hard work and commitment of the team, with revenue up 20% to \u00a3134m (FY 2020: \u00a3112m) with an order book of \u00a3945m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a priority, we have continued to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/bim-news\/digital-construction-report\/105927\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">invest in technology and innovation<\/a> with the launch of goldeni our technology platform. This innovation allows us to take a more proactive approach to repairs, by flagging potential issues in real-time, helping us spot potential indicators of vulnerability such as fuel poverty and support our colleagues in Group to achieve our net zero goal.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Creating healthier homes through data insight<\/h3>\n<p>MSPS became the first property maintenance provider to develop an inhouse platform that can consolidate and interpret information from a number of commercially available \u2018Internet of Things\u2019 sensors in real-time.<\/p>\n<p>Their new technology Goldeni uses machine learning to provide social housing landlords and tenants with real-time, actionable insights to help them ensure their properties are healthy, legally compliant, and more energy-efficient.<\/p>\n<h3>Contributing to communities<\/h3>\n<p>The social value team within MSPS have delivered resident and estate days, digital inclusion sessions and biodiversity projects to create more resilient communities, with the use of data insight allowing us to identify residents at risk and those that are vulnerable, providing them with the support they need.<\/p>\n<p>The company also signed up to the Employers Domestic Abuse Covenant in 2021, taking a pledge to support women affected by abuse to enter or re-enter the workplace.<\/p>\n<h3>Building a diverse workforce<\/h3>\n<p>20 new starters were welcomed to complete a six-month placement as part of Kickstart, a government-funded scheme which aims to support 16\u201324-year-olds, who are currently claiming Universal Credit, to find their feet in the working world.<\/p>\n<p>MSPS also showed commitment to breaking down the barriers which prevent women from pursuing roles in the industry by joining the Women\u2019s Trade Network, an initiative founded to increase the representation of women in trade roles.<\/p>\n<p>MSPS will work in partnership with the network to raise awareness of the variety of roles available to women and provide training opportunities to encourage greater gender diversity across the industry.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mk-custom-module-container\">\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) has announced its end of year performance for 2021, showcasing a \u2018record set of results\u2019 for the construction and regeneration group.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":21,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[304],"tags":[13038,676,688,685,747],"stakeholder_rel_tag":[],"contributor_rel_tag":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-106465","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-planning-construction-news","7":"tag-building","8":"tag-construction","9":"tag-digital-construction","10":"tag-morgan-sindall","11":"tag-property"},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v26.9 (Yoast SEO v26.9) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-premium-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>MSPS announce &#039;record set&#039;
