{"id":107556,"date":"2022-03-14T12:11:02","date_gmt":"2022-03-14T12:11:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=107556"},"modified":"2022-03-14T12:11:02","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T12:11:02","slug":"arc-partnership-building-framework-nottinghamshire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/arc-partnership-building-framework-nottinghamshire\/107556\/","title":{"rendered":"SME contractors to benefit from ARC Partnership building framework"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>A new opportunity has been announced for SME contractors across Nottinghamshire to benefit from the expansion of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arc-partnership.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arc Partnership<\/a> building framework over the next four years<\/h2>\n<p>The Arc Partnership building framework &#8211; a joint venture between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nottinghamshire County Council<\/a> and public sector procurement specialist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scape.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SCAPE<\/a> &#8211; will see up to \u00a317m of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/bim-news\/the-built-environment\/102225\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">built environment<\/a> projects procured by Arc Property Services Partnership Limited.<\/p>\n<p>Arc Partnership has announced that it intends to reprocure its General Building framework this year, which will be made available to potential suppliers in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n<h3>New Arc Partnership building framework will aid in developing social value<\/h3>\n<p>The second generation building framework marks a \u00a37m expansion on the cumulative value of projects being procured through Arc Partnership\u2019s existing framework.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion of the Arc Partnership building framework will further aid the growth of local businesses while delivering extensive social value in local communities, including through skills development.<\/p>\n<p>Up to 33 contractors will secure a place on the framework, delivering projects across Nottinghamshire County Council properties including County Hall, between 2023 and 2027.<\/p>\n<p>A pre-qualification questionnaire will be made available to bidders to express their interest in the framework in late April, with preferred bidders announced in December 2022.<\/p>\n<h3>New framework aims to move towards a greener and sustainable built environment<\/h3>\n<p>Councillor Reg Adair, vice-chairman of the economic development and asset management committee at Nottinghamshire County Council, commented: \u201cOne of our major priorities over the coming years is boosting the local economy, and we\u2019re looking to do all we can to support local firms through our building works.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We want to create the right environment for businesses in our county to grow, while also moving towards greener, more sustainable, cost-effective and efficient buildings, to save taxpayers money in the long term.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo far Arc Partnership projects have generated more than \u00a3210 million in local investment, with almost \u00a3190 million in contracts for Nottinghamshire businesses, who are creating jobs and reinvesting in the future of our county.
