{"id":107727,"date":"2022-03-16T13:12:49","date_gmt":"2022-03-16T13:12:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=107727"},"modified":"2022-03-16T13:38:14","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T13:38:14","slug":"icw-group-high-value-structural-warranty-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/building-control-news\/icw-group-high-value-structural-warranty-scheme\/107727\/","title":{"rendered":"ICW Group&#8217;s new high value structural warranty scheme goes live"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.i-c-w.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ICW Group<\/a> launches its new high value structural warranty scheme, available to developers building major residential and commercial projects<\/h2>\n<p>Thanks to additional capacity from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/building-control-news\/icw-structural-warranty\/78553\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> A-rated insurer, Accelerant<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/stakeholders\/icw-group-building-warranties-and-building-control\/78525\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ICW Group<\/a>&#8216;s new high value structural warranty scheme has now gone live.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The scheme provides specialist cover against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/mmc-news\/mmc-structural-defects\/94456\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">defects for single structures<\/a> with a reinstatement value of up to \u00a350m over a period of either 10 or 12 years.<\/p>\n<h3>Bespoke structural warranty policies for each project<\/h3>\n<p>The policy is specifically tailored for each individual project through a transparent and straightforward underwriting process and includes all the benefits of ICW\u2019s standard cover, such as approval by all major mortgage lenders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Aaron McCarten, chief operating officer at ICW Group, said: &#8220;We\u2019re delighted to extend our offering with the new high value warranty scheme.
