Graham<\/a> has been awarded a place on the new Construction Works and Associated Services 2 (CWAS2) \/ ProCure 23 (P23) collaborative construction framework<\/h2>\n

The company has been appointed to\u00a0Lots 1-3 (P23) and Lot 5 for Public Sector Projects valued over \u00a380m, building on Graham’s current appointment and project delivery through ProCure22 and the first iteration of the CCS Construction Works and Services Framework.<\/p>\n

The collaborative construction framework agreement, which has been put together by Crown Commercial Service (CCS) and NHS England and Improvement, will support the government\u2019s policy of using construction to drive economic recovery following the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/a><\/p>\n

The new agreement recognises the importance of public sector construction as a key driver of economic recovery, providing health bodies in England with a new route to market for construction works and associated services, and helping the UK to build back better.<\/p>\n

The framework adopts the principles of the Construction Playbook, rationalising frameworks in an innovative and collaborative approach between Crown Commercial Service (CCS) and NHS England and NHS Improvement.<\/p>\n

NHS England and NHS Improvement, who leads the NHS in England, sets its strategic direction through the NHS Long Term Plan, and funds key priorities for improvement.<\/p>\n

P23 is the fourth generation of the ProCure route to market for the provision of design and construction services to NHS capital projects, with an estimated cumulative value of \u00a39bn over its four-year lifespan.<\/p>\n

The new construction framework covers projects with varying levels of complexity and values of work, and will run in parallel with CCS\u2019s existing Construction Works and Associated Services (CWAS) agreement.<\/p>\n

ProCure 23 \u00a0is the fourth iteration of the ProCure agreement and will continue to provide design and construction services to the NHS.<\/p>\n

Once the Department of Health and Social Care\u2019s existing ProCure 22 expires, Lots 1 to 3 will be the default commercial agreement for capital health projects in England.<\/p>\n

Lot 5 of CWAS2 will provide extra market capacity for larger value, general construction projects across the UK.<\/p>\n

The new framework has the potential to make an impact on health, wellbeing and social care needs<\/h3>\n
