John Sisk & Son<\/a> becomes the first construction and engineering firm in Ireland to invest in the JCB<\/a> 525-60E electric telehandler<\/h2>\n

The JCB 525-60E electric telehandler is a 100% electric, zero emissions piece of plant machinery.<\/a><\/p>\n

It offers near-silent operations on site combined with health benefits of zero emissions and significantly reducing energy costs. It also has considerably lower operating costs.<\/p>\n

The JCB 525-60E electric telehandler model has two electric motors<\/a> \u2013 one for driveline, the other for lifting operations \u2013 and is powered by a 96-volt lithium-ion battery. The hydraulic system features \u2018smart regeneration\u2019 with power recovered during boom lowering and retraction fed back into the battery.<\/p>\n

JCB states its 525-60E electric telehandler, which is charged by 24kWh battery, powers a full day on a single charge.<\/p>\n

Carbon Neutrality by 2030<\/h3>\n

This investment is a significant step in the Sisk sustainability journey, as they aim to achieve Carbon Neutrality by 2030.<\/p>\n
