The \u00a3200m <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/mixed-use-development-in-boston\/106625\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">mixed-use development<\/a> will be\u00a0relaunched under the SH Hotel &amp; Resorts\u2019 \u2018Treehouse\u2019 brand.<\/p>\n<p>The new hotel in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/manchesters-piccadilly-east-neighbourhood-ferrous-housing\/107861\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Manchester<\/a> will provide:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>office space<\/li>\n<li>car parking<\/li>\n<li>a residential tower featuring 300 new homes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instead of demolishing the hotel, the company will redevelop the existing hotel.<\/p>\n<p>In turn, this will have\u00a0significant environmental benefits. For example, it will generate around 40 percent less CO2 than it would a new-build hotel of the same size.<\/p>\n<p>The proposals for the Renaissance site are designed by Jon Matthews Architects, Avison Young is the planning consultant and Planit IE is the landscape architect.<\/p>\n<h3>The new hotel in Manchester marks the next phase of growth for the Glasgow-based contractor<\/h3>\n<p>Managing director and co-founder Andrew Lafferty has\u00a0made the following comments:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re delighted to have won this latest contract, which sees our company continuing to grow. This is the most recent win in a string of major new hotel, commercial and housing projects.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The second of two Treehouse hotels in the UK, it follows Calma delivering the first fast-track scheme for Starwood Capital Group and we are delighted to be invited to undertake another large project for this valued client.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we celebrate our 10<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary this year, it\u2019s great to see the business continuing to grow. I\u2019d like to thank all of the team for their hard work and dedication in getting us to this stage. We are now well placed for further growth with a strong project pipeline and order book for the next five years.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Working in tandem with Manchester City Council to create a landmark scheme<\/h3>\n<p>Working closely with Manchester City Council, the new hotel in Manchester is further enhancing the Deansgate area.
