They will be presented on the evening of the Association\u2019s annual National Conference, which will be held on the same day at the Novotel.<\/p>\n<p>The BESA Awards are free to enter. They reward individuals, teams, and companies who have been responsible for delivering projects, products, innovations and initiatives that demonstrate excellence in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/leading-women-in-engineering-representation\/109599\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">building services engineering<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The dinner is the culmination of a year-long series of local heats hosted by BESA\u2019s regions and devolved nations. The regional winners have been put forward to the national final in London.<\/p>\n<h3>In celebration of the return of the BESA Awards, several new categories have been launched<\/h3>\n<p>To celebrate the return of the in-person format, BESA has launched several new categories which are open to both members and non-members. These include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/are-construction-net-zero-goals-too-ambitious\/110154\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Net Zero Initiative<\/a>, Product Innovation, and Women in Building Services.<\/p>\n<p>The management training award has been relaunched as The Manly Trust Management Training Bursary and there is a new Diversity and Inclusion category. Of course, BESA\u2019s regular categories will continue to cover the full range of industry apprenticeships awarded across the regions.<\/p>\n<p>A newly appointed expert panel of judges drawn from across the sector will scrutinise each entry.<\/p>\n<p>To mark the event, the BESA Awards dinner will feature a celebrity host and live band. It is expected to be the most lavish to date.
