{"id":110764,"date":"2022-05-12T12:33:46","date_gmt":"2022-05-12T11:33:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=110764"},"modified":"2022-05-12T12:33:46","modified_gmt":"2022-05-12T11:33:46","slug":"morrison-energy-services-appointed-to-ev-charging-framework","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/morrison-energy-services-appointed-to-ev-charging-framework\/110764\/","title":{"rendered":"Morrison Energy Services appointed to EV charging framework"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"x_Default\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.morrisones.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Morrison Energy Services<\/a> has been awarded a place on the EV charging framework to support a major roll-out in the North of England<\/h2>\n<p class=\"x_Default\">The framework agreement with <a href=\"https:\/\/be-ev.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Be.EV<\/a>, an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/olev-grant-new-builds\/108159\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">electric vehicle (EV) charging<\/a> provider, will help deliver more than 1,000 chargers and four big charging hubs across the North of England.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"x_Default\">The agreement covers:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_Default\">the installation of EV charge points,<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_Default\">site surveys and feasibility studies<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_Default\">civils and electrical design,<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_Default\">electrical infrastructure installations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>50% reduction in carbon by 2030<\/h3>\n<p>As an M Group Services operating business, Morrison Energy Services is committed to working towards a 50% <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/plant-equipment-supplies-news\/m-group-solar-pods\/88424\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reduction in carbon<\/a> by 2030. The installation of EV infrastructure is a fundamental element of this.<\/p>\n<h3>Electric &#8216;core&#8217; fleet by 2030<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mgroupservices.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">M Group Services<\/a> recently joined the EV100. Its entire \u2018core\u2019 fleet will be transitioning to electric by 2030, alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/electric-vehicle-charging-points-3\/97676\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">installing charging points at key locations across the UK<\/a>.
