The first zero carbon ready homes at Hayfield\u2019s<\/a> \u00a325m development in Clophill, Bedfordshire have officially launched<\/h2>\n

The first release of 50 zero carbon ready homes<\/a> at Hayfield Lakes are now available for off-plan sales.<\/p>\n

Hayfield\u2019s \u00a325m development, located next to a new 292-acre nature reserve and lake in the Bedfordshire village of Clophill, offers a range of three and four-bedroom family homes priced from \u00a3575,000 – \u00a3870,000.<\/p>\n

Two-bedroom bungalows and five-bedroom executive homes will be included in future releases and Hayfield\u2019s largest house design – The Eaton \u2013 will be introduced.<\/p>\n

Timber and red brickwork detailing<\/h3>\n

Hayfield Lakes has been designed with a ‘high degree of consideration to the local vernacular’, with features including timber and brick detailing. Predominantly heritage red brickwork will be complemented by dark grey feature window frames, traditional brown and grey roof tiles, and render in key locations.<\/p>\n

Energy-efficient underfloor heating, air source heat pumps and EV charging points<\/h3>\n

The zero carbon ready homes feature air source heat pumps<\/a>, energy-efficient<\/a> underfloor heating, electric vehicle fast-charging<\/a> points, and fibre optic broadband.<\/p>\n

Clophill Lakes Nature Reserve for community use<\/h3>\n

Hayfield\u2019s development will also incorporate Public Open Space, new habitats for wildlife, a children\u2019s play area, and the vast majority of existing trees and hedgerows will be retained and enhanced. A new community facility, Clophill Lakes Nature Reserve, is currently being developed by The Greensand Trust.<\/p>\n

“In contrast to the highly sophisticated interiors, the architectural detailing for the 50 homes will be traditional, to maximise kerb appeal and reflect Clophill\u2019s plethora of period properties.<\/p>\n

“The early interest in Hayfield Lakes is very high and we expect to have a handful of homes reserved within the first week.<\/p>\n

“Appointments are being made on a first come, first served basis, enabling proceedable buyers to choose their preferred home and plot, while benefitting from pre-show-home prices. The first houses will then be available to move into during the autumn.”<\/p>\n
