The development will also incorporate landscaped Public Open Space and a new village shop for the Parish.<\/p>\n<p>The zero carbon development has been designed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, and is positioned just two miles away from Little Kimble Railway Station, which provides regular services to Oxford and London Marylebone.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/hayfield-launches-first-zero-carbon-ready-homes-bedfordshire\/110781\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hayfield\u2019s development<\/a> site is located directly opposite The Chilterns AONB, and 25% of the landscape-led scheme will be covered by tree canopies to reflect this.<\/p>\n<p>By working with the Council\u2019s Landscape Officer, Hayfield has also designed a SUDS pond solution that doubles up as usual open space in dry periods. The extensive new planting and range of additional environmental enhancements will deliver a net biodiversity gain.<\/p>\n<h3>&#8216;A zero carbon ready specification that exceeds the Future Homes Standard&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>Andy Morris, managing director of Hayfield, commented: \u201cWe are very pleased to have obtained the green light for this special development and will now make preparations to start on site. This will be our third live development in Buckinghamshire, and we will be building on our reputation for luxury family homes by delivering some the largest houses Hayfield has ever built.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe plans for each two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom house will feature room dimensions that greatly exceed those typically seen in the new homes market.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our spacious designs and sympathetic architecture \u2013 which takes design cues from the plethora of traditional properties in the village \u2013 will be combined with a zero carbon ready specification that far exceeds the Future Homes Standard. We are excited to showcase how sustainable living doesn\u2019t need to compromise on luxury.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/planning-submitted-20m-hayfield-manor-development-north-oxfordshire\/108811\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The development<\/a> will also incorporate M4(2) and M4(3) \u2018lifetime homes\u2019 construction standards to offer enhanced accessibility and adaptability, ensuring the 40 new homes are future-proofed for wheelchair users.<\/p>\n<p>Hayfield will create a new access road and footpaths to adoptable standards from Risborough Road, with the zero carbon development having been designed to seamlessly assimilate into the surrounding environment.<\/p>\n<p>The homes have been designed with a high degree of consideration to the local vernacular, with features including brick detailing, traditional porches and brick chimneys.
