Matt Browell-Hook has been appointed as the new Costain energy director to lead the company’s energy portfolio from strategic advisory to programme delivery<\/h2>\n

As the new Costain energy<\/a> director, Matt Browell-Hook will be responsible for ensuring Costain continues to build on its strong heritage in engineering and design<\/a>, project delivery and energy solutions to create connected and sustainable infrastructure<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Natural resources managing director Sam White said: “Our engineering and consultancy experts are supporting customers, industrial clusters, and key stakeholders with their strategic intentions in energy resilience and energy transition.<\/p>\n

Digital solutions to decarbonise energy<\/h3>\n

“To move more quickly towards a decarbonised economy, Matt will focus on energy transition services to support existing energy organisations and those developing new technologies in the market.”<\/p>\n

Browell-Hook has over 18 years of experience in the energy market. He joins from Kent as the board director responsible for oil and gas within the UK and Europe, focused on the management of assets through their lifecycle and the energy transition<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Commenting on his appointment, Matt said: “I have been impressed with the approach to energy transition, and the strong position Costain has in the energy market, with projects such as the South Wales Industrial Cluster, bp Teesside and the Acorn project in Scotland.<\/p>\n

“I look forward to collaborating with colleagues to further shape, create and deliver engineering and digital solutions to further decarbonise the energy landscape.”<\/p>\n
