[With Revizto], it\u2019s only one thing that you need to install onto your computer, so it\u2019s definitely a plus!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Next, Rhys Lewis meets with Jake Lucier, who has travelled all the way from Hong Kong to Digital Construction Week. He asks Jake to introduce himself.<\/p>\n<p>Lucier said: \u201cI\u2019m Jake Lucier, director of Integrated Design. We\u2019re using BIM to manage and coordinate projects in a practical and effective manner for main contractors and subcontractors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lucier then demonstrates how the company is using Revizto: \u201cThis is Revizto drawings that we have overlaid onto models for a superstructure.\u201d He then shows Lewis how the software is being used to <a href=\"https:\/\/revizto.com\/en\/integrations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">coordinate the project<\/a> to interface it with different parties.<\/p>\n<h3>\u2018Sharing ideas and asking questions\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>Over at the BIM Open Mic stand, Lewis meets with Casey Rutland. Rutland introduces himself: \u201cI\u2019m Casey Rutland, the founding director of Digital Green, vice-chair of UK BIM Alliance, and chair of Building Smart UK.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m here today at DCW at the BIM open mic session, which is all about people<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/bim-news\/communication-and-collaboration\/105544\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> sharing ideas<\/a>, and asking questions.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u201cIt\u2019s great to see so many people coming and meeting to collaborate and learn about new technology like Bricscad \u2013 CAD software for everyone!\u201d &#8211; Jas Pawar, Bricsys.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Walking around the exhibition, Rhys runs into David Philp from AECOM and the Construction Innovation Hub. He states: \u201cOne thing I\u2019m really enjoying is seeing the connection between geospatial and digital construction. Every year, that connection is getting closer and closer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s so much energy in the room! I love having these conversations again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lewis asks Philip what has stood out to him at the show so far. Philip responds: \u201cI think talking about societal change and outcomes is great. Everywhere you go you also hear about sustainable development goals!\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>\u2018The perfect collaborative experience\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>Over at the FULmax stand, Malcom Stagg, chief digital officer at FULcro, is showcasing immersive collaborative VR using the power of Revizto.<\/p>\n<p>Rhys states: \u201cYou actually feel like you\u2019re within the space!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stagg explains: \u201cYou&#8217;re able to step inside your model and appreciate what it&#8217;s going to take to install these services on your project as if you&#8217;re there on site.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of these issues can be resolved before you get to the site. The manufacturing of data and information running through Revizto- it creates the perfect collaborative experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>The future of the built environment<\/h3>\n<p>Rhys Lewis also meets with Oliver Hughes, event director and co-founder of Digital Construction Week. Lewis asks Hughes why people watching should attend the event this time next year: \u201cAnyone interested in the future of the built environment should head down. Tech, digitalisation, and innovative new ways of working \u2013 it\u2019s all here.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Industry collaboration<\/h3>\n<p>Over at the Innovation Exchange area, Rhys meets with Mohammad Shana\u2019a, CEO at Morta, and Luka Stefanovic, architecture industry specialist at Vectorworks.
