He also led acquisition of LHC\u2019s charity organisation, Lintel Trust and has pioneered the use of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/health-safety-news\/could-community-building-be-the-answer-to-loneliness\/110704\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LHC Community<\/a> Benefit Fund, which has so far distributed more than \u00a31m back to Scottish communities.<\/p>\n<h3>&#8220;LHC is entering a pivotal new phase&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On his appointment, Clive Feeney said: &#8220;In the 12 years I have worked with LHC it\u2019s been a pleasure to both watch and be part of its growth, so it feels fitting now to be leading the organisation with the board as we start a new chapter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;LHC has performed very well this year, despite the adversity created by Covid-19 and other political issues in the UK and worldwide. We are growing, we have strong support from the board, and now is the right time to set out what kind of organisation we want to be going forward. LHC is entering a pivotal new phase in its long history and it\u2019s a very positive step.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vice chair Mandy Clark is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and HR professional, bringing more than 20 years\u2019 board-level experience for international organisations spanning professional services, defence, engineering, and support services. Currently co-deputy chair at Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), Mandy also serves on the board of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/featured\/constructing-excellence-collaborative-working-mmc-housing-project-delivery\/109535\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">housing associations<\/a> Abri and GreenSquareAccord.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mandy Clark said: &#8220;This is a hugely exciting opportunity to be joining LHC as the board and leadership team forge a new path for the organisation\u2019s future to enable us to build on success to-date.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;I look forward to working with Cllr. John Bevan, current Chair of the LHC joint committee, drawing on his years of experience, while bringing in cross-sector board experience we can use to benefit not just LHC, but the clients and suppliers we work so closely with.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Elaine Elkington, current LHC Group Interim Managing Director, said: &#8220;It\u2019s been a pleasure to lead LHC, first through the joint committee structure and then setting up the new board in conjunction with chair Cllr John Bevan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;The new board is skilled to lead LHC into a thriving future through the next stage of its implementation plan and will benefit from Clive\u2019s experience of driving business development in the regions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Our current governance arrangements have been in place for more than 50 years and while they have served LHC well in the past, the experience and sector knowledge of the new non-executives will enhance our offer to the market and provide a strong client interface with our customers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Peter Quinn as LHC Chair<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The latest news follows the announcement of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/featured\/peter-quinn-lhc-groups-new-chair\/109078\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Peter Quinn as LHC Chair<\/a> in April and arrives as part of the organisation\u2019s governance refresh.
