GRAHAM<\/a> has completed work on the core of PLATFORM_<\/a>\u2019s Glasgow build-to-rent Central Quay scheme, which now stands as one of Glasgow\u2019s tallest buildings at 20 storeys (circa 60m high)<\/h2>\n

The \u00a3100m, residential-led<\/a> Glasgow build-to-rent development will create 498 high-quality apartments across four blocks. Designed by Keppie, the scheme is located between the city centre and the west end.<\/p>\n

The development will be complete with a range of amenities including a state-of-the art gym, landscaped courtyard, two roof terraces, library and cinema room, creating an exclusive waterside community which will be home to over 1,000 residents. Residents will also enjoy a private games room, guest lounges and group dining rooms.<\/p>\n

The development will revitalize the Broomielaw thoroughfare<\/h3>\n

The Glasgow build-to-rent scheme at the Broomielaw will contribute significant investment towards the ambitious regeneration<\/a> of the Clyde Waterfront, which has been earmarked by Glasgow City Council as an area for urban renewal.<\/p>\n

Given its prominent location at the Broomielaw, the development will help to revitalise an important thoroughfare and contribute significant investment<\/p>\n

The modern and functionally designed one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments will help to meet the requirement for new housing in the city centre, as demand continues to outweigh supply, with future-proofed housing stock for generations to come.<\/p>\n

Expanding Glasgow city centre housing provision with build-to-rent model<\/h3>\n

Matt James, senior project manager at PLATFORM_, said: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to see the building taking shape and reaching this milestone of 20 storeys. The project is running to plan, and we are looking forward to completing the development by Q4 2023. PLATFORM_ will add to the skyline of Glasgow and help transform the Central Quay area. The tower will feature two 19th floor amenity spaces; a Residents\u2019 Lounge and bookable private dining room with breathtaking views across the city.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gary Holmes, regional managing director for GRAHAM Building North, said: \u201cIt has been a great achievement to oversee Central Quay rise from ground level to now stand at 20 storeys, where you can enjoy striking views across the city.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has enhanced the city skyline and will improve available housing options as we collectively try to expand city centre housing provision and strengthen the local economy. The BTR model is becoming increasingly popular for a range of demographics given the high-quality offer and amenities it provides.<\/p>\n
