Hayfield<\/a>\u2019s Graduate Development Programme has gained its first graduate, after the launch of the company\u2019s Industrial Placement Programme in 2021<\/h2>\n

Matt Dandy has joined Hayfield\u2019s Graduate Development Programme as a Trainee Assistant Site Manager following the completion of his BSc Honours degree in Real Estate from Oxford Brookes earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Learning about the future of sustainable construction<\/h3>\n

Originally from Cranleigh, 22-year-old Matt will have the opportunity to spend time with each team to understand what makes Hayfield tick and to deepen his understanding of the construction industry.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI\u2019m excited to join Hayfield at such an innovative time for the construction industry, and to be a part of the pledge to be net zero by 2030<\/a> – high quality construction and energy efficient solutions are of real interest to me.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m already learning a lot about the future of sustainable construction<\/a> which is so important in today\u2019s climate, and I\u2019m grateful for the opportunity to further my career as part of such a committed company.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hayfield\u2019s Graduate Development Programme will grant graduates access to a mentor and wellbeing support<\/h3>\n

Sara Hope, head of Human Resources, said: \u201cI am thrilled to welcome Matt onto Hayfield\u2019s Graduate Development programme.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe development of our people is a key priority for us, and our Graduate Recruitment and Development Programmes are important elements of this. Matt will have the opportunity to enhance his knowledge of our business, the industry and the key challenges facing our sector such as sustainability, energy-efficiency and high-quality building.<\/p>\n

\u201cMatt will have the support of a mentor and will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of initiatives tailored to his own personal development. As a Hayfield employee, he will also have access to our award-nominated Wellbeing programme<\/a>.<\/p>\n
