{"id":117679,"date":"2022-10-27T16:53:46","date_gmt":"2022-10-27T15:53:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=117679"},"modified":"2023-05-02T13:18:53","modified_gmt":"2023-05-02T12:18:53","slug":"m-ar-board-of-directors-double-appointment-paul-cunniffe-mark-fox","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/people\/m-ar-board-of-directors-double-appointment-paul-cunniffe-mark-fox\/117679\/","title":{"rendered":"Double appointment to M-AR board of directors"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Paul Cunniffe and Mark Fox have been appointed to sit on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/stakeholders\/m-ar-offsite-solutions\/100079\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">M-AR<\/a> board of directors, strengthening the offsite modular manufacturer&#8217;s leadership team as part of an ambitious five-year growth plan<\/h2>\n<p>Paul and Mark have both built their experience in a variety of roles at M-AR over the last few years, during which time <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/record-breaking-year\/102619\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the company has grown and evolved and a rapid pace<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>M-AR board of directors will shape the company&#8217;s five-year growth plan<\/h3>\n<p>Together with the other M-AR board members, they will help to shape the future of the offsite modular manufacturer as it continues its projected growth over the next five years with a focus on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/mmc-news\/m-ar-delivers-new-affordable-housing-development-in-bromley\/114554\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">serving the residential, education and commercial sectors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Cunniffe, M-AR\u2019s new preconstruction director, is responsible for overseeing all projects prior to works starting on site, seeing them successfully through the tender process and on to site. He will act as custodian of this process, smoothing the way and making sure clients are kept informed throughout while continuing to build the foundations to support M-AR\u2019s future growth trajectory.<\/p>\n<p>His focus will be on creating robust new roadmaps for M-AR to make sure it can continue to deliver the same great service as it scales up operations, without losing sight of what makes M-AR unique.<\/p>\n<h3>Paul Cunniffe will lead M-AR&#8217;s preconstruction team<\/h3>\n<p>In his previous role of preconstruction manager at M-AR, he steered the department as it grew, taking on several dedicated bid teams. This, together with his extensive experience in the traditional contracting sector, puts Paul in an excellent position to lead the preconstruction team as M-AR continues to grow and develop.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Fox, having recently been appointed to the role of operations director, is responsible for all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/m-ar-company-wide-health-and-safety-training-programme-pay-it-forward-safety\/111916\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">operations both in the factory and on-site with a major focus on quality and safety<\/a> \u2013 a vital role for M-AR which describes itself as a contractor with a factory.<\/p>\n<h3>Mark Fox is well-versed in the particular issues affecting the MMC sector<\/h3>\n<p>His attention to detail will be invaluable as he keeps projects running to schedule and budget while ensuring that any challenges are dealt with swiftly.<\/p>\n<p>In the two and a half years Mark has been at M-AR, where he was head of operations and most recently manufacturing director, he has overseen the move to its new larger factory to meet increased demand. He\u2019s also implemented new procedures which ensure that the factory is always operating at maximum efficiency, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/mmc-news\/homelessness-charity\/105888\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">manufacturing high-quality modules<\/a> and therefore minimising snagging on-site post-completion.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan Geldard, director at M-AR said: &#8220;We pride ourselves on being a forward-looking, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/mmc-news\/new-cpd\/106272\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">innovative and dynamic company<\/a>.
