Based in the former warehouse and head office for Jack Wills, Pasta Evangelists have contracted Clegg to deliver the UK’s largest pasta facility<\/h2>\n

Clegg Food Projects<\/a> have been appointed as the principal contractor to deliver the UK\u2019s largest fresh pasta manufacturing facility for Pasta Evangelists.<\/p>\n

Located in Park Royal in central London, the project \u2013 which is the former Jack Wills head office and warehouse \u2013 will see the food and drink construction specialists convert the building into a fresh pasta and sauce facility.<\/p>\n

Pasta Evangelists is expanding operations following a sale to Barilla in 2021<\/h3>\n

Pasta Evangelists was famously turned down by Dragon\u2019s Den in 2018 but has since gone from strength to strength. The company now has a large customer base up and down the UK, delivering more than one million portions of pasta last year.<\/p>\n

Alessandro Savelli, founder and managing director at Pasta Evangelists said:<\/p>\n

The plan from the outset has been to design the site with innovation in mind<\/a>, so we can start experimenting with even more exciting, differentiated flavours and gourmet ingredients to delight and inspire our customers.”<\/p>\n

The redevelopment delivering the UK’s largest pasta facility should complete in 2023<\/h3>\n

Clegg Food Projects will oversee the design and build of the new internal space, with plans to install equipment that will transform the current warehouse into a commercial food processing, packaging and storage facility with distribution space.<\/p>\n

Oliver Jenkins, business development manager at Clegg Food Projects, said: \u201cWe are really pleased to be working with Pasta Evangelists \u2013 it is an exciting company with some ambitious growth plans.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new facility will undergo a transformation into a best in class high-care food manufacturing facility along with advanced processing packaging and distribution.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe demolition has now started<\/a>, and we are set up onsite. We are working closely with Pasta Evangelists and the rest of the team on the first stages, with the new facility set to complete next year.\u201d<\/p>\n
