Bentley Systems has announced the promotion of Brock Ballard to the role of chief revenue officer, and the appointment of Eric Boyer as investor relations officer<\/h2>\n

Before joining Bentley Systems<\/a> in 2020, Brock Ballard served in sales leadership positions with Dassault Syst\u00e8mes, Autodesk, and Oc\u00e9 after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama in 2001.<\/p>\n

Greg Bentley, chief executive officer, added: \u201cWe could not have come nearly so far without Gus\u2019s indefatigable resolve and empathy for both infrastructure engineers, where he started professionally himself, and for our colleagues whose successful careers in sales he, in many cases, launched, and certainly exemplified. Gus has shown the way from cofounding a startup to achieving Bentley Systems<\/a>\u2019 billion-dollar revenue milestone as a public company.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd we now welcome Eric Boyer as our inaugural Investor Relations Officer, reporting directly to me. Eric combines a wealth of experience and strategic acumen to help us create a world-class investor relations function. Eric Boyer has over 20 years of experience in investor relations and equity research<\/h3>\n

During his tenure as senior vice president and head of investor relations at IHS Markit Ltd., a global information services leader, its market capitalisation increased from $8 billion to $44 billion.<\/p>\n

He was also consistently recognised by Institutional Investor\u00a0as a leading IR professional. Prior to Boyer\u2019s investor relations career, he spent more than a decade as a sell-side equity analyst at Wells Fargo and Deutsche Bank, where he covered various technology and related services sectors and was recognized by The\u00a0Wall Street Journal\u2019s \u201cBest on the Street\u201d survey for his stock selections.<\/p>\n

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics and International Business from Penn State University in 1999.<\/p>\n
