{"id":120069,"date":"2023-01-16T10:38:28","date_gmt":"2023-01-16T10:38:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=120069"},"modified":"2023-01-16T10:38:28","modified_gmt":"2023-01-16T10:38:28","slug":"galliford-try-makes-double-appointments-new-healthcare-director-head-of-pre-construction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/galliford-try-makes-double-appointments-new-healthcare-director-head-of-pre-construction\/120069\/","title":{"rendered":"Galliford Try makes double appointments of new healthcare director and head of pre-construction"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gallifordtry.co.uk\/sustainability\/our-approach\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Galliford Try<\/a> has expanded its senior team with the appointments of Laura Hodgetts as healthcare director and Stuart Wallace as head of pre-construction<\/h2>\n<p>Galliford Try has made two additions to the senior team with the appointment of a new healthcare director and new head of pre-construction.<\/p>\n<p>The appointment bolsters Galliford Try&#8217;s position as a leading healthcare contractor, having provided <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/featured\/building-sustainable-healthcare-facilities\/114021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">planning, designing, and constructing healthcare facilities<\/a> for NHS trusts as a partner of the NHS ProCure frameworks since 2014.<\/p>\n<h3>Laura Hodgett has been promoted from her current role of assistant healthcare director<\/h3>\n<p>With over 18 years\u2019 experience in the sector, Laura has held roles with the Department of Health and as a healthcare consultant, and has a Msc in Planning Buildings for Health from the Medical Architectural Research Unit (MARU).<\/p>\n<p>Laura originally joined Galliford Try in 2018 and will succeed Omar Jomeen in her new position.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Jubb, managing director of Galliford Try\u2019s building business, commented: \u201cAs a people-orientated business we maintain a keen focus on succession planning, and I am delighted to be able to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/why-are-we-failing-to-attract-young-people-and-women-in-construction\/116062\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">promote Laura from within<\/a> to this key strategic role. I look forward to working with her as we continue to offer NHS clients innovative, affordable solutions, fit for the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Stuart Wallace joins to drive a &#8216;Source to Sea&#8217; approach in new water sector markets<\/h3>\n<p>Stuart was previously head of pre-construction for Morrison Construction\u2019s environment team, with pre-construction responsibility for the Scottish Water ESD and DV2 frameworks.
