Aon plc’s global headquarters, the Aon Centre in the Leadenhall Building in London, have achieved their second Secured Environments<\/a> award<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n
The Secured Environments award, presented by the Commissioner of the City of London Police, Angela McLaren, recognises that Aon is following six key principles to maximise the safety of colleagues and visitors.<\/div>\n

It was achieved after a thorough audit of the company\u2019s approach to security management<\/a> at their headquarters, which included independent consultation with management, security officers and other colleagues.<\/div>\n

The scheme covers security measures in public and private buildings<\/h3>\n

Established in 2007, it provides a framework for managing and meeting the challenges faced, and it enables organisations to refine their approach and demonstrate that it is effective.<\/p>\n

The aim is to help organisations to think about their risks and how to make the best use of measures they already have.<\/p>\n

Secured Environments locations include landmark buildings, shopping centres, Universities, halls of residence, hospitals, data centres and business premises.<\/p>\n
