Beattie Passive<\/a> has been named a supplier for CCS’ Offsite Construction Solutions Framework and has also secured a place on the Offsite Homes Alliance \u00a32bn national modular construction framework<\/h2>\n

Crown Commercial Services (CCS) supports the public sector in achieving maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.<\/p>\n

The new CCS Offsite Construction Solutions Framework<\/a> will be available from 2 April 2023.<\/p>\n

Modular housing can help to solve the cost of living crisis and climate emergency<\/h3>\n

Commenting on the appointment, Ron Beattie, managing director of Beattie Passive, said: \u201cThis is clearly brilliant news for us as a business, but it is also indicative of the government\u2019s commitment to offsite construction, which is tremendous news for everyone involved in the sector, including our partners and suppliers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a strong proposition because we build to Passivhaus standards, and we\u2019ve already delivered a number of net zero housing schemes<\/a> in England and Wales. We believe that modular housing, built offsite to Passivhaus standards, will help to ease the housing crisis and tackle the climate emergency, while raising building and living standards.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nathan Beattie, commercial operations at Beattie Passive, added: \u201cWe\u2019re also pleased to be named on Lot 6 (thermal efficiency upgrades) because of the urgent need to improve the energy efficiency of UK homes.<\/p>\n

“Given that 80% of the buildings we\u2019ll be using in 2050 have already been built, we\u2019re very keen to use our proven deep retrofit system to decarbonise the nation\u2019s existing housing stock.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beattie Passive has also secured a place on the Offsite Homes Alliance \u00a32bn national modular construction framework<\/h3>\n

Beattie Passive has been appointed to deliver Category 1 MMC over the next 4 years on the OSHA Framework, administrated by Great Places Housing Group, to supply homes to its 23 members and future new members of the alliance.<\/p>\n

Beattie Passive will support in the delivery of extensive development programmes and collective ambitions to tackle the housing crisis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Matthew Harrison, chief executive of OSHA member Great Places Housing Group, commented: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to be working with Beattie Passive on the new OSHA framework. We\u2019re confident they will be able to work with us and the OSHA clients in delivering the sector\u2019s extensive development ambitions.<\/p>\n
