Mace has been appointed as the delivery partner on three major infrastructure projects on the Heathrow H7 Framework, covering all four terminals, and the Asset Replacement Programme in terminals 3, 4 and 5<\/h2>\n

Heathrow is investing in significant infrastructure upgrades for passengers as the aviation industry recovers from the impact of Covid-19.<\/p>\n

Mace<\/a> has committed to reducing embodied carbon at the airport by 40% by 2026 against the industry standard baseline. The company will deliver five circular economy innovations a year and commit to 100% \u2018clean technology\u2019 by the second quarter of 2023.<\/p>\n

Offsite manufacturing will play a large part in the delivery of the terminal projects<\/h3>\n

Offsite manufacturing and digital project tools will drive greater efficiency in the delivery of the Heathrow H7 Framework projects. Mace has already introduced innovative technology at Heathrow, such as ‘Dave’, the robotic dog, and \u2018Construction to Production\u2019 used on the Cargo Tunnel refurbishment project.<\/p>\n

Mace has delivered over 400 projects at the airport<\/h3>\n

Nigel Cole, managing director for Aviation, Mace Construct, said: \u201cWe have partnered with Heathrow for over 30 years and have delivered over 400 projects at the airport<\/a>.<\/p>\n
