{"id":127669,"date":"2023-06-06T09:28:25","date_gmt":"2023-06-06T08:28:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=127669"},"modified":"2023-06-06T09:28:25","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T08:28:25","slug":"diesel-free-construction-sites-by-2035","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/diesel-free-construction-sites-by-2035\/127669\/","title":{"rendered":"Diesel-free construction sites by 2035"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Nusrat Ghani MP joins industry leaders to launch a plan to create diesel-free construction sites by 2035<\/h2>\n<p>There are an estimated 300,000 items of Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM) powered by diesel being used by the UK construction sector.<\/p>\n<p>Industry leaders have been collaborating on the development of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.constructionleadershipcouncil.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/CLC-Consultation-Draft-Zero-diesel-sites-route-map-CLC-Zero-diesel-sites-working-group.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zero Diesel Sites Route Map<\/a> &#8211; part of the Construction Leadership Council\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.constructionleadershipcouncil.co.uk\/workstream\/co2nstructzero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CO2nstruct Zero programme<\/a> for decarbonisation &#8211;
