{"id":128832,"date":"2023-06-26T15:13:30","date_gmt":"2023-06-26T14:13:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=128832"},"modified":"2023-06-26T15:17:21","modified_gmt":"2023-06-26T14:17:21","slug":"aceleron-energy-secures-green-home-finance-accelerator-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/aceleron-energy-secures-green-home-finance-accelerator-funding\/128832\/","title":{"rendered":"Aceleron Energy secures Green Home Finance Accelerator funding"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The Green Home Finance Accelerator funding is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/collections\/net-zero-innovation-portfolio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UK Government\u2019s Net Zero Innovation portfolio<\/a> and aims to trial lithium-ion batteries and explore the feasibility of ESaaS in the UK<\/h2>\n<p>By retaining ownership of the batteries and introducing a subscription model via the Green Home Finance Accelerator,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aceleronenergy.com\/en\/information-hub\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Aceleron<\/a> is set to accelerate the adoption and increase the accessibility of renewable energy and sustainable battery storage systems for consumers.<\/p>\n<p>The core innovation of the project lies in Aceleron&#8217;s development of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aceleronenergy.com\/en\/products\/energy-storage-systems\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a fully maintainable home energy storage product.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This breakthrough technology provides the systems with a greater lifespan and enables the battery to become an asset rather than a consumable item.<\/p>\n<p>This will help to enable the implementation of servicing models, making ESaaS a viable option.<\/p>\n<h3>The ESaaS offering will eliminate the upfront cost of lithium-ion batteries<\/h3>\n<p>Under<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/green-home-finance-accelerator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> the Green Home Finance Accelerator,<\/a> Aceleron aims to provide users with the necessary equipment, installation services, and a comprehensive system monitoring platform.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, a maintenance agreement will ensure the seamless operation of the energy storage system.
