The company is spending a total of 2.3bn on infrastructure improvements through the current AMP7 framework (2020-2025).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/thames-water-secures-barhale-contract-to-strengthen-east-london-water-tunnel\/127326\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barhale will continue to operate under FA1488,<\/a> covering Lot 1, the non-infrastructure framework, and Lot 2, the infrastructure framework.<\/p>\n<p>Lot 1 focuses on capital maintenance and enhancement, and Lot 2 includes new installations and capital maintenance of existing key assets.<\/p>\n<p>Lots 1 and 2 will be the principal delivery route for the AMP8 capital programme.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, Barhale has been appointed to FA1495 \u2013 Lot 5 of the AMP7 framework.
