status across a \u00a3600m host of consultancy service packages as part of the DfT&#8217;s STARThree Framework.<\/p>\n<p>The framework covers a range of services, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/planning-construction-news\/how-can-collaborative-procurement-benefit-construction-project-delivery\/128199\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">procurement and contracting support<\/a>, project and programme management, technical guidance and strategic advisory resources.<\/p>\n<p>The STARThree framework aims to meet emerging service requirements in UK transport infrastructure and the DfT&#8217;s investment programme.<\/p>\n<h3>Mace is one of six &#8216;prime&#8217; suppliers<\/h3>\n<p>The third iteration of the STARThree framework, will see six \u2018prime\u2019 suppliers taking on lot-wide remits alongside a host of specialist companies with more targeted briefs.<\/p>\n<p>In their debut position on the framework, Mace will pick up work across strategy, planning and economic forecasting advice; operations and performance advice; commercial advice; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/digital-construction-news\/construction-technology-news\/councils-rationalise-infrastructure-asset-management-systems-single-any-asset-service\/112021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">infrastructure and asset advice<\/a>; and project and programme management advice.<\/p>\n<p>Both Network Rail and National Highways are set to benefit from the DfT STARTHree framework initiative<\/p>\n<p>Across the five lot 1 categories, DfT is showing its commitment to responsibly delivering the nation\u2019s transportation network, with social value and decarbonisation marked out as core themes.<\/p>\n<h3>Modernising and transforming UK transportation infrastructure<\/h3>\n<p>Sean Gray, director for transportation at Mace Consult, commented on the STARThree Framework appointment:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSecuring this new appointment with DfT is a reflection of the growth and success we\u2019ve seen in our UK transportation business over the past few years;
