Cruden is set to build nearly 50 affordable homes on a brownfield site in Craigshill, Livingston<\/h2>\n

A disused 1.2 hectare brownfield site in Craigshill, Livingston, will become home to 49 energy efficient, affordable properties, via Cruden for the Link Group.<\/p>\n

The \u00a38.7m development will create sustainable flats<\/a> across across three blocks, which will be three and four storeys high.<\/p>\n

Residents will be able to access the one and two bedroom homes as social rental.<\/p>\n

Bringing sustainability and affordable housing to Craigshill<\/h3>\n

Electric vehicle charging points, bike storage and on-site parking will be incorporated into the design, as well as green space for the residents to enjoy.<\/p>\n

The brownfield site<\/a> on Sydney Street is close to a variety of amenities, with shopping venues, health centres and schools nearby. Transport links connect Craigshill to the surrounding communities and train stations at Livingston and Uphall have regular trains to Edingburgh and Glasgow city centres.<\/p>\n

The brownfield development is due to be completed in Summer 2025<\/h3>\n
