Balfour Beatty has announced an engineering education partnership with the New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering (NMITE)<\/h2>\n

The engineering education partnership between Balfour Beatty and the Hereford-based NMITE will bring real-world, onsite experience to the growing student body.<\/p>\n

The higher education institution currently has over 60 students, but plans to expand to 300 in the next four years.<\/p>\n

NMITE does not require their students to have a Maths or Physics A Level, making the training resources more accessible<\/a> to a greater pool of potential future engineers.<\/p>\n

Balfour Beatty will offer industrial placements to NMITE students<\/h3>\n

Along with gaining onsite experience across Balfour Beatty’s wide variety of active projects, students will be able to attend seminars that provide technical insights into the construction and infrastructure industry.<\/p>\n

Balfour Beatty’s experts will also contribute to NMITE’s curriculum.<\/p>\n

By combining our industry expertise with NMITE’s innovative curriculum, we can empower the next generation of engineers to excel in practical skills and meet the evolving demands of the construction industry<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith this partnership, we can open doors for a diverse range of young people to enter the construction industry by catering to a variety of learning abilities that equips students with a well-rounded skillset.\u201d<\/p>\n
