{"id":136020,"date":"2024-01-10T09:22:06","date_gmt":"2024-01-10T09:22:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=136020"},"modified":"2024-01-10T10:38:28","modified_gmt":"2024-01-10T10:38:28","slug":"sir-robert-mcalpine-northgate-mental-health-facility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/projects\/sir-robert-mcalpine-northgate-mental-health-facility\/136020\/","title":{"rendered":"Sir Robert McAlpine completes new mental health facility for Northgate Park Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.srm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sir Robert McAlpine<\/a> has completed a new mental health facility for Northgate Park Hospital, Northumberland, as part of the hospital\u2019s \u00a360m redevelopment under Cohort 1 of the NHS New Hospital Programme<\/h2>\n<p>Designed by Medical Architecture, the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/health-safety-news\/mental-health-in-construction-5\/133595\/\">mental health<\/a> facility provides a variety of indoor and outdoor settings for relaxation and activity, relieving boredom and addressing the risk of challenging behaviours and poor physical health.<\/p>\n<h3>The facility is part of the \u00a372.6m Care Environment Development and Re-provision programme<\/h3>\n<p>The project was delivered through cohort 1 of the NHS New Hospital Programme.
