The next LABC monthly technical seminar takes place in Oldham and offers construction industry professionals across the North-West an insight into Actis’ RIBA-approved CPD on changes to Part L<\/h2>\n

Actis specification manager Amaret Chahal, who co-wrote the CPD, will share highlights of the insulation specialist’s newly updated RIBA-approved Tomorrow’s Insulation Solutions for Future Homes Standards<\/strong><\/em> CPD at the event on Wednesday July 10 in Oldham.<\/p>\n

Running from 8am until 11.30am at the Oldham Event Centre<\/a>, on Oldham Athletic Football Club’s Boundary Park, the session will see Amaret share key elements of the popular CPD<\/a> with builders, specifiers, architects and building control officers from across the region.<\/p>\n

Actis’ contribution will focus on insulation to meet the new tighter Building Regulations Part L requirements, while other experts will talk on issues such as warranty defects.<\/p>\n

This is the sixth year in a row in which Actis is working with LABC as a CPD partner.<\/p>\n

Other LABC CPD partners at the in-person event, which is worth 3.5 hours of CPD training, will each offer insight into a specific technical issue and a proposed solution designed to educate and inform.<\/p>\n
