{"id":149042,"date":"2025-02-27T10:41:56","date_gmt":"2025-02-27T10:41:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=149042"},"modified":"2025-02-27T10:41:56","modified_gmt":"2025-02-27T10:41:56","slug":"ecitb-leading-industry-learning-calls-for-opinions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/hr-skills-news\/ecitb-leading-industry-learning-calls-for-opinions\/149042\/","title":{"rendered":"ECITB Leading Industry Learning calls for opinions"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecitb.org.uk\/about-ecitb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Engineering Construction Industry Training Board<\/a> (ECITB) is calling for views on their drafted plan<\/h2>\n<p>This year is the final year of the current ECITB Leading Industry Learning Strategy, and they have drafted a new plan for 2026-2030.<\/p>\n<p>They are now calling for industry professionals including engineering construction employers and their workforces, training organisations, government partners, and asset owners to contribute their thoughts on the draft.<\/p>\n<h3>Consultation workshops will gather opinions on the ECITB Leading Industry Learning draft<\/h3>\n<p>The workshops will be held across all regions and nations throughout April and May this year. We also need a step-change approach in how we upskill and reskill the existing workforce to keep their competency current and provide long-lasting careers in the industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut this is not just the ECITB\u2019s strategy \u2013 it is the training and development strategy for the whole industry.
