This gives attendees the chance to find out what they think makes the difference at each stage.<\/p>\n<h3>Learn more about the Pride in the Job journey<\/h3>\n<p>Pride in the Job is truly accessible to all. Every site manager with a site registered for an NHBC Buildmark warranty is automatically entered.<\/p>\n<p>The competition covers England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, and is open to businesses of all sizes with no entry forms or fees.<\/p>\n<p>Judging for the competition takes place over 18 months and includes assessment across six key areas:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>consistency<\/li>\n<li>attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>leadership<\/li>\n<li>the interpretation of drawings and specifications<\/li>\n<li>technical expertise<\/li>\n<li>health and safety.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The judging process for Pride in the Job is rigorous. Thousands of site inspections take place across the UK and from these meticulous scoring and verification are undertaken to identify the Quality Award winning site managers.<\/p>\n<p>We then move to the Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards level and finally to the Supreme Awards for the ultimate winners.<\/p>\n<p>Darren Horner, regional director at NHBC, said: \u201cI hosted the first Best Practice Seminar in 2024 and could see how useful it was to those looking at how they could improve quality on their sites and make progress in Pride in the Job.
