{"id":151366,"date":"2025-05-19T15:04:48","date_gmt":"2025-05-19T14:04:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=151366"},"modified":"2025-05-19T15:05:37","modified_gmt":"2025-05-19T14:05:37","slug":"new-tfl-infrastructure-procurement-framework-incoming","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/projects\/new-tfl-infrastructure-procurement-framework-incoming\/151366\/","title":{"rendered":"New TfL infrastructure procurement framework incoming"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/tfl.gov.uk\/travel-information\/improvements-and-projects\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transport for London (TfL)<\/a> has released details for a framework which will be taking tender next month<\/h2>\n<p>The TfL infrastructure procurement framework will be for multi-discipline infrastructure and construction design and works.<\/p>\n<p>This will involved early contractor involvement and a multi-stage contracting approach.<\/p>\n<h3>The TfL infrastructure procurement framework will move along TfL\u2019s pipeline<\/h3>\n<p>Participants in the framework will work closely with TfL on a series of projects, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Elephant &amp; Castle Station Capacity Upgrade (~\u00a360m)<\/li>\n<li>South Kensington Station Capacity Upgrade (~\u00a380m)<\/li>\n<li>Step Free Access projects (\u00a35-\u00a315m, total ~\u00a3200m)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The total combined value of all framework projects, subject to relevant funding approvals, is estimated around \u00a3500-\u00a3700m.<\/p>\n<p>The Rail Industry Qualification Scheme (RISQS) will be used as a Qualifying Utilities Dynamic Markey, meaning any contractors interested in the scheme must register for RISQS prior to 16 June 2025. This will be used instead of traditional competition.<\/p>\n<p>The contracts, after being awarded, are estimated to start 20 October 2025 \u2013 19 October 2027, with a possible extension to 19 October 2029.<\/p>\n<p>Late last year, Transport for London <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/transport-for-london-seeking-solar-farm-builder\/145349\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sought a solar contractor for the London Underground Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>The listed product codes should be registered in RISQS by interested parties<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>C.D.1.1:
