The reality is, there simply aren\u2019t enough engineers in the world to do all the work that needs to be done. By shifting to a data-centric workflow, SYNCHRO+ streamlines construction planning and coordination.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWe have been creating a\u00a0new generation of infrastructure\u00a0applications\u00a0built on digital twins, powered by AI, and fully connected to Bentley Infrastructure Cloud,\u201d said Francois Valois, senior vice-president, Bentley Open Applications.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey show what\u2019s possible when AI is built for real infrastructure workflows and tailored to the needs of engineers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bentley also announced new AI-powered search capabilities in ProjectWise, part of Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, designed to significantly reduce the time users spend searching for information.<\/p>\n<h3>Commitment to data stewardship<\/h3>\n<p>While ProjectWise\u2019s new AI-powered search capabilities promise significant productivity gains, Cumins said Bentley recognises that innovation must be grounded on a foundation of trust.<\/p>\n<p>He reaffirmed a commitment, first outlined at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/digital-construction-news\/bim-news\/pbc-today-bentleys-year-in-infrastructure-going-digital-awards-2023\/133964\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2023 Year in Infrastructure conference<\/a>, emphasizing that respect for intellectual property is foundational to Bentley\u2019s approach to infrastructure AI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur users are in control of their data. They decide if it is used for AI training, and to what extent,\u201d Cumins said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur users\u2019 data is their data, always.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Only data that has been explicitly licensed or purchased for AI model training is used. This includes contributions from accounts that have agreed to supply data for the benefit of the broader Bentley user community.
