For outdoor and geospatial applications, Focus i.1 X includes a GNSS\/RTK mountable receiver and a 400-metre scanning range, helping users georeference data and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/digital-construction-news\/construction-software-news\/improving-workflow-efficiency-through-reality-capture\/158826\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">streamline workflows<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReality capture projects are often a balance between speed, accuracy, and ease of use throughout the scanning process,&#8221; said Dietmar Wennemer, business unit manager at FARO INSIGHT.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat stands out about the new Focus scanners is how they address all three. The improvements reflect feedback from users who wanted faster workflows, more confidence in their data, and tools that are easier to integrate into the way they already work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Focus continues to support cloud-based collaboration in the FARO Sphere\u00ae XG digital reality platform, plus advanced processing and AI data cleaning in SCENE, through a new subscription model that expands access to connected workflows and allows organisations to scale their reality capture capabilities over time.<\/p>\n<h3>Bringing digital reality to a wider audience<\/h3>\n<p>In partnership with Manifold Tech Limited, a 3D spatial intelligence technology company, FARO INSIGHT is also introducing Rovi i.1. The new reality capture solution is designed to bring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/digital-construction-news\/smarter-facilities-with-digital-reality-technology\/162356\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">digital reality<\/a> to a wider audience through an accessible package of both capture device and software subscription.<\/p>\n<p>The workflow connects data capture with the mobile scanner, processing in FARO Sphere XG, and project insights using SCENE, in an easy-to-use, affordable solution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur customers have expressed the need for a complete workflow that connects hardware and software and can adapt to the way they operate, more than a standalone capture device,\u201d stated Tobias B\u00f6hret, director, product solutions at FARO INSIGHT.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRovi i.1 brings these elements together in a complete package, supporting the customer journey from everyday capture to actionable reality data.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>FARO INSIGHT\u2019s huge portfolio updates expand further<\/h3>\n<p>Alongside the scanner launches, FARO INSIGHT announces various developments that further connect reality capture with processing and downstream workflows. Among them is SCENE 2027, a major update to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faro.com\/en\/Products\/Software\/SCENE-Software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">company\u2019s desktop processing software<\/a>, which will reduce project point cloud generation time on large projects from hours to minutes. The release will also introduce an AI-based filter designed to remove glass and mirror reflections.<\/p>\n<p>Other announcements include a new cloud-to-cloud workflow with Flyability&#8217;s Inspector Online, allowing point cloud data captured by Elios 3 drones to move directly between Inspector Online and the FARO platform.<\/p>\n<p>Forthcoming additions to Sphere XG will extend these connected workflows into project deliverables. Integrated Projects, or IPX, a scan-to-BIM service, will allow customers to order as-built BIM created from captured point clouds without leaving the platform. Extending this connectivity further, an integration with Qbitec, expected later in 2026, will enable Sphere XG data to move into additional project workflows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe future of reality
