A new survey has revealed the construction industry remains confident as the UK forges forward with some of the largest infrastructure projects seen in a generation\u2026<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Infrastructure Outlook Report<\/span><\/a>, based on research from Ipsos Mori<\/span><\/a> and commissioned by construction firm Tarmac<\/span><\/a>, has revealed confidence in the construction sector.<\/p>\n

The survey revealed two third of all respondents were confident the overall infrastructure outlook over the next 12 months remained positive in the light of numerous high profile projects such as HS2 and the \u00a315m national road building programme.<\/p>\n

However, two thirds of those surveyed said there was not enough being done to meet the infrastructure requirements in the UK.<\/p>\n

Tarmac chief executive Cyrille Ragoucy said: \u201cIt\u2019s great to see that the construction industry is in a confident mood, but there is no room for complacency.<\/p>\n

\u201cChallenges remain in meeting the UK\u2019s infrastructure requirements and there is concern about the delivery in the years ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n
