It is expected the zero net energy buildings market will see global growth between 2016 and 2024\u2026<\/span><\/h2>\n

According to a new report<\/span><\/a> the global market for zero net energy buildings is set to see continued growth.<\/p>\n

Zero net energy buildings are designed to ensure the amount of energy consumed by the building is roughly the same as the amount of renewable energy created on site. With the built environment contributing significantly to carbon output these types of measures are imperative.<\/p>\n

In good news for the sector, it is expected the market will see a global growth between 2016 and 2024, although it will see a slow start.<\/p>\n

Globally, a number of zero net energy building pilots have been developed, ranging from residential to commercial facilities. This method of energy saving will drive lower bills and can reduce environmental damage.<\/p>\n

The report looks at the growth trajectory seen in the global zero net energy building markets, in particular the pilot schemes in place and the successful cases.<\/p>\n

The increase of environmental concerns, coupled with government regulations in favour of the sector will help buoy the market.<\/p>\n

The analysis revealed Asia Pacific and China offer lucrative opportunities for the market, with the amount of urban construction taking place.<\/p>\n

The EU will also see a boost due to its commitment to reducing energy consumption in commercial, residential, and government buildings.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, North America will see expansion due to government policies and rising investments on eco-friend construction.<\/p>\n
