{"id":28985,"date":"2016-12-01T10:35:34","date_gmt":"2016-12-01T10:35:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=28985"},"modified":"2016-12-01T10:35:34","modified_gmt":"2016-12-01T10:35:34","slug":"electrical-contracting-report-highlights-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/electrical-contracting-report-highlights-future\/28985\/","title":{"rendered":"New report into electrical contracting highlights the future of the sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>A new report from the ECA, NICEIC and ELECSA has revealed the key issues that have an impact on the future of electrical contracting<\/h2>\n<p>Electrical contracting has been brought into the spotlight following the publishing of a new report.<\/p>\n<p>The \u20182021 Vision \u2013 the 2016-16 Review\u2019 is a collaborative effort between the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eca.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Electrical Contractors\u2019 Association<\/a> (ECA), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niceic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting<\/a> (NICEIC) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elecsa.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">ELECSA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Key issues in electrical contracting<\/h3>\n<p>The report is an insight into the key issues affecting the future of electrical contracting and is a midway update to the \u20182021 Vision\u2019 report produced in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Within the report some 30 issues and predication made five years ago are considered using a \u2018red, amber, green\u2019 system.<\/p>\n<p>This latest review also discusses the impact of some major developments that have occurred since 2011.
