{"id":29103,"date":"2016-12-06T14:03:44","date_gmt":"2016-12-06T14:03:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=29103"},"modified":"2016-12-06T14:04:31","modified_gmt":"2016-12-06T14:04:31","slug":"cobuilder-strong-foothold-nordic-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/digital-construction-news\/bim-news\/cobuilder-strong-foothold-nordic-region\/29103\/","title":{"rendered":"coBuilder reaffirming a strong foothold in the Nordic region"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>coBuilder is further strengthening its presence in the Nordic region by entering the construction market in Finland as of January 2017<\/h2>\n<p>In order to better meet the massively increasing interest towards coBuilder&#8217;s tools and services, coBuilder announced the establishment of a Helsinki-based sales and marketing support entity in Finland.<\/p>\n<p>With two new markets entered and three prestigious awards won, as well as important strategic partnerships with industry giants such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.skanska.co.uk\/\">Skanska<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/energy-news\/full-fill-cavity-wall-insulation-exposure-wind-driven-rain\/27508\">Knauf Insulation<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/bim-news\/understanding-four-pillars-bim\/24481\">Wienerberger<\/a> signed off, all within a year, coBuilder&#8217;s successful endeavours are now to be directed towards another important Nordic market \u2013 Finland.<\/p>\n<h3>A cooperative approach towards the Finnish construction industry<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;Being present and working closely with the Finnish construction industry players ensures the integration of the local market needs and regulatory requirements into the company\u2019s general digitalisation strategy,&#8221; explained Pekka Riikonen, who will head up the newly established entity in Finland.<\/p>\n<h3>coBuilder\u2019s solutions in Finland for manufacturers and contractors<\/h3>\n<p>coBuilder\u2019s award winning BIM data platforms \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/gobim.com\/\">goBIM<\/a> for construction product manufacturers and <a href=\"http:\/\/productxchange.com\/\">ProductXchange<\/a> for contractors \u2013 will be available in Finland from the 1st January 2017.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With coBuilder\u2019s solutions, every construction product manufacturer and every contracting company in Finland will have a cost-effective way to become early BIM adopters and implement the collaborative approach to working with standard-based, structured digital data in their processes,&#8221;added Lars Chr. Fredenlund, CEO of coBuilder.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Finland has definitely been a BIM pioneer and holds a firm position as one of the leading countries in implementing openBIM standards. However, the industry still has not fully benefited from this digital transformation.
