Housebuilder Keepmoat Homes has received consent from Glasgow City Council to deliver 826 new homes at the Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area<\/h2>\n

The ten-year regeneration programme is set to provide 628 new homes for private sale and 198 for mid-market rent through the Glasgow Housing Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The \u00a3250m regeneration scheme is also expected to deliver 62 new jobs through modern apprenticeships, graduates and new entrants, 45 new construction jobs, along with support for 46 apprenticeships and 82 work placements.<\/p>\n

The new homes will include a mix of one- to five-bedrooms, with prices starting from \u00a3112,500.<\/p>\n

Plans for the Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area include the construction of a road bridge across the Glasgow-Edinburgh railway line, as well as the introduction of a footbridge across the M8.<\/p>\n

There will also be retail units, green space and commercial developments in the new neighbourhood, which \u2013 according to Keepmoat <\/a>\u2013 will be the largest project of its kind in the UK outside of London.<\/p>\n

Work on the Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area is scheduled to start late spring\/early summer 2019.<\/p>\n
